  • Defining and refining what it means to be “human” in modern India.
  • Reforming humanities pedagogy and curricular reform at all education levels, including educational experiments and innovations in school.
  • Exploring the role of pluralism and diversity in India, as well as India’s connections and interactions—over time and into the present—with the rest of Asia and the world at large.
  • Developing skill sets among scholars and researcher to write for a general public and citizenry.
